Dr. Shoham gives comprehensive presentation on Scoring in SBA Lending Today

Dr. Shoham’s presentation, Scoring in SBA Lending Today, covered topics ranging from how scores are created to fundamental strategies for maximizing scoring’s profit-enhancing power. He also explored the scoring landscape within SBA and conventional small business lending.

The annual conference is designed to bring to together lenders from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and New Mexico to share best practices and discuss new technologies. It is the most well attended regional conference for government guaranteed lenders.

Dr. Shoham brings more than 20 years of experience in the statistical sciences to his role as CEO of Edgeware Analytics. After earning his PhD in Mathematics from Temple University in Philadelphia at age 21, Dr. Shoham was a Staff Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Lincoln Laboratories, for eight years and a Principal Scientist and Product Director at HNC Software (now part of Fair Isaac Corporation) for another eight years. He founded Edgeware Analytics in 2003 to deliver the same powerful analytics enjoyed by the consumer lending market to the world of small business lending.
